The Soul of Your Brand
My approach to branding has always mirrored my approach to people and psychology. I’ve long been fascinated by identity—my own, others’, what makes us tick, and why we do what we do. Beneath it all is a deep desire to help people find their soul-aligned path—to create lives, and brands, that feel true to who they really are.
When I think about branding, it’s the same impulse. My goal is to help clients discover their soul resonance—that intersection between purpose and offering—and express it through design, messaging, and story with heart and authenticity.
The Breadmaker’s Story
I often think about branding in its simplest, most human form—long before digital marketing or social media existed.
Picture a medieval marketplace: a cobblestone street lined with merchants. You’re new in town and have just opened a small bread stall at the edge of the square. You know your bread is special—made with love, care, and the same joy your grandmother felt as she kneaded dough and told stories that filled her kitchen with warmth.
But now comes the timeless challenge: how do you let people know?
You hang a sign above your stall—a loaf of bread inside a heart with wings—symbolizing nourishment, love, and the lightness of spirit your bread brings. You greet customers with kindness, offer samples, and share stories that make them feel at home.
That’s your brand. Not just your product—but the feeling it gives, the emotion it carries, the story it tells. That feeling is the mystery key of Brand Alchemy—the energy that transforms what you do into something others can feel and remember.
Before long, people aren’t just saying, “Let’s buy bread.”They’re saying, “Let’s go see the Heart Bread Maker down the street.”
